The wedding ceremony is the heart of the wedding day, because it is so precious and magical. The magical and beautiful flowers, the breathtaking dress, the dancing, the fun, and the food are all fun, but nothing tops the ceremony during which two people actually become legally, spiritually, and literally married, which is what makes that moment so special. A lot of couples often leave the wedding ceremony planning to the last minute, and that is never a good plan. To help you out, we have prepared some simple but adorable wedding ceremony scripts.
Ceremony Script for a Traditional Wedding
- PROCESSIONAL
Beginning of the wedding ceremony during which the guests are seated in their seats. The entrance of the bridal party follows this.
- INVOCATION

- VOW EXCHANGE
The couple exchanges vows during this part. The biggest hack we have: write them beforehand and read them during the ceremony! You should also read them a few times before the wedding itself.
- RING EXCHANGE AND DECLARATION OF INTENT
During this part, the couple exchanges their wedding rings.
- PRONOUNCEMENT
The register declares them as husband and wife/ wife and wife/ husband and husband! Everyone claps, and there is of course a big kiss!
