Brides we know wedding prep begins early and lucky for you, the Spring 2017 wedding dress collections have just debuted at New York Bridal Fashion Week. We saw some trends that have been long established in the wedding dress world and some new looks giving you more freedom to express your style. We cannot wait to see which fashions inspire you for the big day to come!
Capelet: Mini capes are definitely an up and coming trend for wedding dresses. Accenting your gown with a lovely capelet is perfect for when you want to cover up just a bit.
Soft Shades: For awhile now, the classic white gown has been traded in for soft shades. It appears this trend is here to stay with designers giving brides a variety of delicate colors, perfect for your modern fairytale wedding.
Pants: There’s no rule saying you absolutely have to wear a dress on your wedding day so ladies, don’t be afraid to give up the gown and wear pants instead. As you can see, they can definitely be worn ever so elegantly.
Florals: Florals are a timeless style that continue to be seen all over New York Bridal Fashion Week. An elegant touch that never fails to make a dress stand out.
High-Low: Wedding gowns can get incredibly hot underneath all that material, especially if you’re having a summer wedding. With this high-low style, you won’t have to worry about that, and you can show off your shoes. It’s a double win so go ahead, show off your legs.
Plunging Necklines: We definitely saw more skin bared on the runway this year with deep-V necklines. If you want to make a bold statement while still exuding elegance, this is the way to go.
